The Gate Clerk is an important member of the dedicated transportation team.
In this role, you will be the first and last point of contact for inbound and outbound loads at a large customer facility.
This position works a rotating shift.
Responsibilities:
Inbounding and Outbounding loads Checking in and maintaining security with outside carriers Performing yard audits as needed Handling other assigned duties as directed Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services.
Qualifications:
Knowledge Skills, and Abilities The ability the work in a fast paced and always changing environment Education and Experience 2 years' experience in an administrative capacity AS400 experience is preferred but not required Transportation or warehouse experience preferred Covenant Logistics is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
